E-commerce Frontend Developer

About the internship
This is a hands-on internship where you’ll get to work with real projects and clients and learn how modern e-commerce experiences are built from the ground up.
At Grebban, we work with both Shopify-based solutions using Liquid, as well as headless storefronts built with React. You’ll work closely with designers, developers, and project managers, and be supported through mentorship and continuous feedback. The goal is for you to develop both your technical skills and your understanding of how great digital experiences and business value are created.
What you’ll be doing
• Supporting the development of e-commerce frontends based on Figma designs
• Learning how to build pixel-accurate, responsive, and accessible user interfaces
• Assisting in developing Shopify themes using Liquid, JavaScript, and modern CSS
• Working with React and component-based development in headless setups
• Helping build reusable components and scalable UI patterns
• Collaborating with designers to translate design into high-quality code
• Testing and refining interfaces across devices and browsers
• Getting exposure to modern development workflows, including AI-supported tools and automation
What you’ll learn

What we’re looking for
• Ongoing or recently completed education in frontend development or similar
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React
• Interest in e-commerce and modern web technologies
• Curiosity and motivation to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
• A team player who likes to learn from others and contribute your perspective
• Comfortable communicating in English, Swedish is a plus
Bonus points if you have experience with
• TypeScript
• Shopify or Liquid
• Tailwind CSS or other structured CSS approaches
• GraphQL or modern frontend tooling

Education & internship period
This internship is suited for students currently studying frontend development, computer science or a related field, with a focus on web development.
The internship i preferably part of a LIA (Learning in Work) period and a part of your studies. Since this is a learning-intensive role, we prefer internships of at least 3–6 months to ensure you get enough time to build skills, gain hands-on experience, and grow within the team.
